Lucky Country was established in Sydney, Australia by its founder and president, Lenka Dransfield. With her years of experience, Lenka began importing and distributing the Lucky Country brand of product in the US and UK in addition to Australia. This bold endeavor created the opportunity for Lenka to build a plant in the US in the rural community of Lincolnton, NC. Today, Lucky Country Aussie Style Soft Gourmet Licorice is produced exclusively at the 61,000 square foot facility in NC. This facility has enabled Lucky Country to produce licorice for both the American and European markets with room to expand and grow.

The continued success of the Aussie style licorice is due to its unique softness. A soft bite which continues with a soft chewy product has allowed Lucky Country to rapidly grow to be a leader in its field.
